We're proud to announce that Nestle In Childcare Centres is heading to the 2018 Northern Rivers Regional Business Awards held on Saturday night (October 13) at the Elements at Byron Bay.
Owner and founder of Nestle In Preschool and Early Learning Centre Goonellabah, near Lismore, Lisa Martin, could hardly contain her excitement after the acknowledgement – and for winning a first-time business award last month, which also gives them automatic entry into the regionals!
Lisa was presented with the ‘Personal Services’ award by Thomas George MP Member for Lismore and sponsored by the Lismore Chamber of Commerce, at the Gala Event last month, at Trinity Sports Hall, Lismore.
“This is a huge shock! I feel extremely grateful, it’s an incredible honour and achievement to win this award because it means all the hard work and dedication myself and the team have put into the business since inception in 2011 – is being well and truly being recognised,” says Lisa Martin, Owner & Founder of Nestle In.
“The award not only solidifies the collaboration of our carefully selected team who are wholly dedicated to providing our children with the love and nurture we believe they need and who are taught valuable skills that will prepare them all the way through to Primary school and beyond. Everything we’ve achieved stems from our passion and ever-evolving vision of how childcare needs to be and intend on providing an exceptional standard to our children and families.”
In Lisa’s acceptance speech, she also thanked the Chamber of Commerce, Barefruit Marketing who have worked with us across all our marketing and congratulated all of the finalists.
Since the beginning, Lisa, with her team, has been the driving force behind the success of Nestle In and have been the forefront in offering an inclusive environment that caters for all cultures, developmental abilities. Lisa considers herself and her team lucky to be on the platform where they support the child(ren) and families in an authentic manner and make a difference in their lives.
The Nestle In story began 9 years ago out of a need for families who were in the workforce or studying, looking for quality education. It has grown considerably year on year. With 19 enrolled students across two days to now employing 35 staff members, including a permanent in-house chef that operates out of a state-of-the-art kitchen facility, and caring and educating for 45 children on a daily basis.
Child-care facilities are numerous in the region, with more popping up locally. Differentiating between itself and other learning centres, Nestle In operates beyond the shortage of quality to provide exceeding quality standards whilst providing local employment for early educators, centre directors, chefs and local companies.
Nestle In is a purpose built and privately-owned long day care centre that cares for babies through to toddlers (0-5 years) and is conveniently opened from 6:30am to 6:30pm.
“Our entire staff believe in creating a welcoming space for children and families to grow and learn in a safe, nurturing, fun and educational environment. We provide the highest quality Early Childhood Programs which meet the emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs of each individual child,” she says.
This award measures high praise, for Nestle In, earnt by delivering personal service recognised by the highest level for an early childhood education provider in the region. It highlights the sum of efforts contributed by every individual part of the organisation who ensures that all children and families receive the best quality care and education.
Wish us luck for tomorrow night!
